Two builds. One goal. . .
. . . and zero experience. Not knowing what we were doing, we set out on our goal to design, build, and travel in a DIY camper conversion - just the two of us. Although not everything went smoothly, we look back on our journey with so much gratitude and pride.
After completing our first build, Saguaro, we were lucky enough to continue our journey building out a second vehicle, Pancake. Our DIY van has become our home, and we're grateful for every moment we get to spend in it.
Saguaro.
Saguaro is the bus that started it all.
She was our first home on the road and the catalyst for our love of van life. When we found her, she was a not-so-rusty old school bus with endless potential. We took on the challenge of converting her into a comfortable living space and travel companion.
Pancake.
Pancake the van holds a special place in our hearts.
With careful planning and hard work, we transformed her into a cozy haven on wheels, perfect for exploring the great outdoors. From the sleek and functional layout to the carefully chosen decor, every detail was crafted to create a warm and inviting space.
